This year, together with the "Best Pigeons" Pigeon Sports Development Club, we aim to further promote the marathon competitions of at least 1000 km and, especially, the performances of Romanian breeders. Thus, we start this collaboration with the Madonna National 2019 stage, for which we put into play prizes worth 54,000 lei and quality products, tested and recommended by world champions. We refer, of course, to the products from Beyers, a brand with a history of over 100 years in the field, and to those of the legendary doctor Dr. Peeters.

The Pigeon Sport Development Club "Best Pigeons" has launched a challenge that is hard to refuse for marathon pigeon lovers, amateurs of distances over 1000 km from the area of ​​Moldova and beyond. Such a project to support the stages of the extreme marathon could not have appeared better on the map of pigeon fanciers in Romania, Suceava County being a point of reference in terms of the cultivation of the pigeon. The basis in support of this statement are the records of Dr. Mircea Bilius, a living legend of Romanian pigeon fancier, who tells us about an absolute premiere in the field of long distance competitions, 900-1000 km called Grand Prix in 1983-1985. Returning to the flight plan for the 2019 season, we promise you that at these competitions you will be among friends who are passionate about pigeon fanciers and among important and traditional players in marathon competitions. The aim of the project is to promote the marathon competitions of at least 1000 km. How does this sound? If this seems incredible to you, know that the prizes we offer are much higher. We will reward pigeon fanciers with very good results, in compliance with all legal provisions and ensuring the best transparency. Therefore, we proposed total prizes of 108,000 lei for the Madona 1000 + km and Tartu 1100 + km stages organized by the Suceava Association. The prizes will be distributed for the first 40 arrivals from both stages as follows: Place 1 - 7000 lei, Place 2 - 5000 lei, Place 3 - 3000 lei, Place 4 - 2000 lei, Place 5 - 2000 lei, Place 6-40 - 1000 lei . Totaling, 54,000 lei per stage, GUARANTEED PRIZES! Because we like the competition, we like the pigeons and we like the competition the most, we throw in the game a trophy taken from fairy tales. The trophy will be awarded to the best pigeon in both stages and will be called the Best Pigeon Trophy.

 

How does the competition take place?


For starters, we inform you that any pigeon fancier member of FNCPR can participate in the Best Pigeons competition. Our only requirement is to pay a contribution of 400 lei / breeder. Breeders who pay the participation contribution will have the quality of sympathetic members of the club and will have the right to benefit from the prize fund for both stages of the marathon - Madonna and Tartu. Everyone can participate in these competitions with as many pigeons as they want. The contribution to the prize fund shall not cover the organizational costs of embarking and transporting the pigeons to the launch site or other organizational costs. And if you want to participate in both stages of our contest, know that you are automatically registered by paying the fee of 400 lei / breeder. There is no obligation to participate with pigeons in both competitions, but once the participation contribution is paid, the breeder can obtain prizes from both stages. You don't have to worry about Best Pigeons prizes because they are GUARANTEED regardless of the number of participants and will not be changed. There will be 80 prizes totaling 108,000 lei. The first 40 places in the general classification will be awarded in each of the two competitions. As a novelty, up to 1 day before the launch, anyone interested can activate the pigeons of any breeder participating in the marathons, if they have not already paid (exactly as in the pigeon activation system). The launch for the Madona National marathon stage is scheduled according to the flight plan for July 13, 2019. Our estimates for this stage are that more than 15,000 pigeons will start from approx. 900 breeders. For the Madonna National stage, the following boarding centers will be organized: Suceava, Rădăuți, Cajvana, Fălticeni, Botoșani, Roman. So, if you have good pigeons and you participate in these marathons anyway, it would be a shame for someone else to win with your pigeons, right?

On the website https://www.bestpigeons.ro you will find a registration form that you must fill out. Payment is made by bank transfer, online by card and cash in the club account or cash with the issuance of a proof. For payment details, the competition title of the breeder for whom the payment was made must be mentioned, as it appears in the FNCPR ranking program. If you activate someone else's pigeons, write in the online payment message box for whom you pay. We apply the same to cash payment, please tell our partners at the boarding centers for whom you make the payment. If you still have questions, you can consult the regulations on the club's website.
