Mircea Robaș has known pigeons for a long time and says that he liked them all the time, for no specific reason. He started performing in 2010, when he started competing. Although he did not send pigeons to pigeon houses and did not register his pigeons in national competitions, he says that he always participates in the flights of the Pigeon County Association "Voiajorul", from Satu Mare, and he knows that he has only famous competitors among Romanian pigeon lovers. the fact that he is always at the top of the rankings only makes him proud of his flight crew and satisfied with the Beyers products he started using.

What places did you get proud of in the competitions you have participated in over time?

In 2013 I remember winning a contest that was for money - that's how the prizes were. Then it was a substantive stage, carried out on the Western area, on nine counties, in total; I then won 770 Euros. There are not many money contests; so it's been on my mind ever since.

What competitions have you participated in this year?

I participated in all the flights of the "Voiajorul" Association, from Satu Mare. Now, in 2017, I have had my best year since I fly pigeons. At the breeder I won the 1st Place Ascending Speed, the 1st Place Ascending Half Fund, the 1st Place General Ascending and the 1st Place Ascending Fund.

Do you have pigeons from famous breeders, or do you have your own line?

Most of my pigeons are from Olimpiu Nagy - they flew in tandem with his brother, Claudiu Nagy - they were both national vice-champions, and he was the national champion in 2013 - the breeder of the year. They also had results in the top three nationally. I had in the top three nationally only at the children's championship, where I play with my two girls. One of them is 15 years old and the other is 10. This year I only played on their behalf; they are both the ones who competed.

How many pigeons do you have in the flight group?

I currently have 45 pigeons and chicks this year, with which I will stay. I had a stage now, on October 4 - a chicken stage. I have a batch of 80-90 pigeons in the spring, when we start the flights.

What are your favorite roads?

Half-fund speed and general fund - both. Only here I play. In fact, I also compete in marathons, sometimes, but without results.

What flight method do you practice?

Widowhood. We fly both sexes - both females and males. This year we even adopted a new style of widowhood.

What differentiates it from the old one?

Both partners fly - when they come home I leave them together all the time until the evening, after which they separate. They never see each other before the stage, but only when they return from the competition, after coming home.

Do you have any special training for pigeons, they fly certain distances before the big stages?

Yes. We start gradually - with 10 km, 20, 30, 50 - up to 80 km. I take them; before the first stage we always have 8 or 10 workouts, as time allows.

How many days do you hire the puppies in the first stage?

I, in general, pair the flight group faster, and in the first stage I don't have any more chicks. I already have a week or two of widowhood. But the first time I raise a chick - I mate them and each pair raises one chick.

What food do you give the pigeons? What type, how do you combine them?

I used to use something else, but this year I started using Beyers. And not only food I have from them, but also products. I also used the other range, from Vet Schroeder Tollisan: Tolliamin and Kombi Mischung for treatments; but I was super happy with the food. I don't think I'll use another food from now on.

How do you manage it?

Twice - morning and evening.

What kind of food do you have?

I think I have them all. I really liked them, I think it's the best food on the market. I have Koopman, I have Sport Energy, Sport Light and I also have Diet - I use Diet Special a lot. I'm super happy!
