The trip to Belgium, to the Beyers Belgium factory, as well as to the farms of some world-famous pigeon lovers made the winner of the prize, Nicolae Mogoș Stănescu, to use for his pigeons only Beyers products. He visited the factory in Antwerp, the oldest Beyers factory and one of the most efficient production units in the field, talked to the management of Beyers Belgium and discovered the unique way in which the best pigeon products end up being distributed worldwide. "I can only tell you that I was impressed. We saw that they have the latest technology, no seed additives are used, they are clean, they are very well selected and packaged properly. In mixtures they have their own recipe. All great pigeon fanciers use Beyers products and I didn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes. Anyone who thinks that I am trying to advertise them, can check, go and see under what conditions these products are made and will see that I am right ", says the pigeon fancier Nicolae Mogoș Stănescu.
He also had the opportunity to meet world-famous pigeon fanciers, talk to them and learn some of their secrets. "We also visited the famous breeders - Jos Thoné, Dirk van Dyck, Erik Limbourg and Albert Derwa, Dr. Vet Norbert Peeters. I had something to see. Very good quality birds, really professional and open to share information with others. Veterinarian Norbert Peeters, the greatest doctor in the history of pigeon fancier, was friendly. Even though we found ourselves on a hectic day, when the pigeons from the competition had to come, he took some time to talk to us. At Jos Thoné, we had the opportunity to wait together for the pigeons. Very nice, I would even say in movies. Anyone who goes there would have to learn, even the best rated pigeon fancier in Romania ... After this trip, I started using only Beyers products. I confess that I didn't use them before, but seeing that all the great pigeon fanciers only use Beyers and have exceptional results in every competition, I became their fan too. We saw in what conditions they are made, with what technology, that quality is taken into account, it is not just a marketing strategy. The same goes for HP products, the company that produces air conditioning products for Jos Thoné ”, explains the winner of the trip.

The pigeon breeder hopes to win the trip to Belgium once again
He managed to reach Belgium after the draw for the Beyers Raffle and the first place ranking at the launch of the 2017 Kumiala Derby Breeder (Poland). Because he liked what he saw, the pigeon breeder hopes to be able to repeat the experience: “Now I am waiting for the pigeons from the competitions, to see if I qualify for a new trip. It would be great to win again, but I urge the other pigeon fanciers to participate, maybe they have a chance to win. They have something to see and something to learn. I, for example, learned that food matters a lot, but the quality of the bird, the line it comes from, its innate sporting qualities also matter, ”. Nicolae Mogoș Stănescu is a member of the Stoenești Club (PH), affiliated to the U.C.P.R. Passionate about pigeons for a long time, he has been participating in competitions since 2009. “There are about 150 pigeons in the farm. I'm lucky to be home and I have time for them. I care a lot about these birds, I always train them and I hope to continue to get good results ", says the breeder from Prahova.
