MIX OF SMALL SEEDS, FOR DESERT AND BOARDING

During the national exhibition in Houten, Gerard & Bas Verkerk presented themselves at the BEYERS stand with some questions about the composition of the mixture for boarding, BEYERS PREMIUM TRAPPING MIX. They had several ideas about a possibility to improve the composition of the mixture. Given their experience as top breeders, together we developed a new mix for boarding.

The starting points for development were:
- maximum absorption;
- greater variety;
- high fat content;

The new mixture was first tested in the aviaries of breeders responsible for designing this mixture. Both Gerard & Bas Verkerk and Gerard & Elly Reedijk - Jongekrijg gave a unanimous verdict: THE NEW MIX MEETED THE EXPECTATIONS ON ALL PLANS!

The best flight performance followed. Berard & Bas Verkerk have won, among countless other awards:
- 1st and 4th place at National S2 Chateauroux out of 13,512 pigeons;
- 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 10th place in NPO Chateaudun out of 8,855 pigeons;
- 4th and 5th place at NPO Bourges out of 7,586 pigeons;
- And they finished the season with an extraordinary result in NPO Ruffec (750 km): 8th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th ( 54/59) out of 3,839 pigeons.
